LG ILLUMINATE

(Cougar x Leeds) x Brittania. Exciting variety from Limagrain which is in second year DAFM official trials in 2020. Was the highest yielding National List variety in Irish trials in 2019 with a relative yield of 108, which was consistent trend across all sites. Strong strawed with excellent rust resistance (YR = 9, BR = 8) with good resistance also to septoria and fusarium. Produces grain of biscuit making quality with high protein, good spec weight (76 KPH) and hagberg (300 secs = ave HFN in Irish trials 2019).
