SU PERFORMER

New variety from Saaten Union / Elsoms in the UK. Highest yielding variety on the German trials and also top of list on UK AHDB Descriptive List for 2018/19. Very tall (170cm) but with very good lodging resistance and excellent straw breakdown resistance, even in a late, wet harvest year. Sow in mid October / early November @ 250 seeds per sq metre. Excellent for biogas production, may also have use in future distilling projects..?
