LVC Trait: Contains low levels of Vicine/Convicine – improving suitability for food and feed markets.

Health & Nutrition Benefits: LVC beans reduce risk of hemolytic anaemia in G6PD-deficient individuals; more suitable for monogastric diets (pigs, poultry).

Market Potential: Expands opportunities in plant-based protein ingredients and human diets, while also improving feeding efficiency in animal rations.

High Yield Potential: Consistent performance across three years of Irish trials (2024–2025).

Good early vigour after sowing.

Flexible sowing window: January to April.
